A Meme
UL had this meme about her and I felt tempted to try one of mine. So, here are seven things about me hopefully not too well known.
1. I consciously or subconsciously end up imitating or copying mannerisms from people I spend the most time with. It could be words others use or peculiar gestures.
2. I have had laser eye surgery done about 9 years back, I have regained almost all my shortsightedness back.
3. I am not sure if this is what is called manipulative but sometimes I suppress my ego to achieve what I really want.
4. I have poured out my heart to unknown people on the train.
5. As a high school-er one of my dreams was to be a TV anchor.
6. In another life I would have been an astrologer.
7. I am morbidly fascinated by snakes.

@Madhu: I am scared of snakes too but they fascinate me nonetheless. I cannot look away from the TV if there is a program on snakes. In a way mabbe thats why I could understand HP being a parseltongue

I am planning to get it done maybe this month, and am now wondering if it’s even worth the trouble.. Hmm

Re LASIK, go for it if you don’t have astigmatism. If you do, ask around some more before getting it done.

Good Post. I agree snakes are fascinating creatures.But I like to see them only in discovery channel.
These are some of the things known and unknown about me.
1. I am mortally scared of all living creatures especially dogs.
2.I constantly lose things like glasses,umbrellas,lunch boxes.
3.Whenever the phone rings i have to answer it even if i am in the bath. It’s not possible nowadays with sruthi.
4. I have a very wild imagination.Eg,If my amma or hubby is late from work and i am not able to reach them,I imagine all sorts of horrible things have happened to them and suffer in agony.
5.I was wearing braces for three years from 9th to 12th grade.
6.I got third prize for english short story writing competition conducted by helpage india in the 10th grade.I joined the competition to escape from a boring malayalam period.
7. I have a bad habit of reading while eating.I don’t do it in front of friends or relatives.

As I don’t have a blog, here goes mine:
1) I hate pets of all kinds and completely afraid of them. So much so that I didn’t wan to get married to someone who likes having pets – avoiding confrontation later
2) For the longest time, I wanted to enter the Indian Foreign Service.
3) This is something that I have realized recently – I am absolutely passionate about food – cooking, eating, taking pictures, food blogging – the whole works!
4) When I like something, I get obsessed with it and this annoys people around me to no end. A sub point is this is everything with me is in superlatives – I either absolutely like something (or someone) or hate something (or someone) – there is no middle ground for me. Trying to work on that now.
5) This is no secret – I am a crazy fan of SRT, crazy being an understatement. Would turn off the TV when he got out, when the whole family is watching the match, much to the annoyance of everyone
6) I have very vivid dreams, more so when I am really stressed out – haven’t figured out the connection yet.
7) I am not someone who opens up / pours my heart out very easily – I tend to keep my problems to myself, for good or bad!

I agree with Anila on 4,I will make a scene if Ashwin doesnt pick up his phone.I will satrt calling all the places I assume he would go

Once I called his supervisor and for an hour the whole building was echoing ‘Ashwin’ as they had constantly announcing for him over the mike.If I think now its funny.
